Overview
Do you have construction experience and want to make a real difference in your community? As a Construction Project Manager at Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity, you will lead home building projects while teaching volunteers and future homeowners. This role offers a steady Monday-Friday schedule, generous time off, and year-round work.
Responsibilities
Leadership: Act as an on-site ambassador, supervise and train volunteers, and oversee projects from start to finish.
- Lead construction projects and manage on-site activities.
- Supervise and mentor volunteers and future homeowners.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and design teams.
Safety: Communicate and enforce all safety policies. Ensure a safe construction site at all times.
Construction: Manage scheduling, work site organization, communication with vendors, inspections, and maintain project progress.
Requirements & Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) of hands-on residential construction supervisor experience; ability to read architectural drawings; strong communication skills; knowledge of building codes and inspection processes; volunteer management experience; and a valid driver's license.
