Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity seeks a talented professional to serve as its Marketing Specialist to support its mission of helping local families build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

Department: Admin Office (In-Person)

FLSA Status: Full Time Salary, Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings and weekend days required

Reports to: ReStore Director

Summary

The Marketing Specialist designs and executes the organization's marketing strategy to promote GMHFH's mission and its ReStores, drive traffic, increase sales, and enhance community engagement. This includes graphic design, content creation, event planning, social media management, and digital advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, design, and implement online and offline marketing tactics.
  • Create marketing collateral and graphics for diverse campaigns.
  • Plan and execute affiliate and ReStore community events.
  • Develop monthly presentations on marketing results and proposals.
  • Manage social media channels and respond to engagements.
  • Implement and monitor paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Maintain website content with SEO-friendly practices.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators.
  • Manage marketing budgets and coordinate media buys.
  • Take high-quality on-brand photos and manage the photo library.
  • Collaborate on internal communications per strategic plan.
  • Ensure all communications adhere to Habitat for Humanity brand guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of marketing or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills across teams and audiences.
  • Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and advertising.
  • Graphic design skills with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic HTML and website management skills (WordPress/FireSpring).
  • E-mail marketing experience using MailChimp, Bloomerang or similar.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $60,000-$70,000, based on skills and experience.
