Primary Responsibilities
- Leadership: Act as an on-site ambassador, supervise and train volunteers, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
- Safety: Communicate safety priorities, ensuring adherence to all established safety policies.
- Construction: Manage schedules, coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and the design team, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) of hands-on residential construction supervisor experience.
- Ability to read residential architectural drawings and understand building codes.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's policy.
Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary range: $65,400 - $75,400, based on experience. Benefits include a health reimbursement plan, 200 combined vacation/sick hours, ten paid holidays, a 5% retirement match after one year, and a 20% staff discount at Habitat Restore.
