Sales Engineer at Gravitee

The Role
AI is reshaping how organizations build, ship, and scale digital products, with APIs as the connective tissue. As a Solutions Engineer, you will not just support a product, but shape the perception and adoption of next-generation AI-driven digital experiences. Your role will directly impact growth by ensuring clients fully leverage Gravitee’s platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
At Gravitee, impact is visible and global. In this role, you will:
- Drive Technical Sales Success: Partner with Account Executives to lead the technical sales process, demonstrating Gravitee’s value and transforming prospects into successful customers.
- Understand & Solve Customer Challenges: Conduct discovery sessions, deliver product demos, lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and provide expert technical guidance to address customer needs.
- Support and Grow Existing Accounts: Collaborate with Customer Success and Technical Account Managers to ensure current customers maximize Gravitee's value, identifying growth opportunities.
- Foster Strategic Partnerships: Engage with partners and service providers to explore new opportunities and technical collaborations that extend Gravitee’s reach.
- Shape the Future of Gravitee: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to influence product evolution, provide customer feedback, and contribute to content initiatives.

Essential Skills
- 3+ years in a Solutions Architect, Solutions Consultant, or Solutions Engineering role for a B2B vendor.
- Track record of providing solutions and engaging with technical customer personas (e.g., developers, architects).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present advanced technical topics and deliver tailored demos.
- Experience in middleware technology, ideally within API management, IAM, or integration.
- Good knowledge of REST, JSON, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD processes, and experience with Linux.
- Creativity and innovation to develop new material for customer discovery and learning.
Desired Skills
- Understanding of Event Driven Architectures and APIs.
- Understanding of OAuth2 and OpenID Connect.
- Knowledge of Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs or AI Agent frameworks/platforms.
- Scripting experience, ideally with Java or JavaScript/Python.
