Job Summary
Quality Engineer 3 (QE3) is a mid-level quality professional responsible for ensuring high product quality through a balance of manual testing, test automation, and performance testing. This role requires hands-on expertise in Playwright for UI automation and performance testing tools (such as JMeter), along with strong collaboration with developers and product teams.Key Responsibilities
What Your Impact Will Look Like
- Design, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web-based SaaS applications
- Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks and tests using Playwright
- Perform performance testing (load, stress, endurance) and analyze bottlenecks
- Create and maintain JMeter test scripts, reports, and performance benchmarks
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers to shift-left testing and improve test coverage
- Analyze defects, provide clear root-cause insights, and validate fixes
- Ensure non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, reliability) are met
- Contribute to test metrics, quality dashboards, and release sign-off decisions

- Test Automation: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript), Knowledge of automation design patterns (Page Object Model, fixtures)
- Performance Testing: Experience with Apache JMeter (test plans, listeners, distributed testing), Understanding of KPIs such as response time, throughput, error rate, and concurrency
- Testing Fundamentals: Manual testing, exploratory testing, regression testing, API testing (REST, JSON, HTTP concepts)
- DevOps & Tools: CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Version control systems (Git)
- Environment Knowledge: Web architectures, microservices, basic cloud concepts
Experience & Qualifications
- 4–7 years of experience in QA or Software Testing
- Proven experience in automation and performance testing
