Job Details
This role can be based out of our Cambridge or Brantford office.
What You Will Do
- Manage datacenter infrastructure including virtualization, networking, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Oversee LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi network administration.
- Administer on-premises and cloud infrastructures (VMware, AWS, Azure).
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
- Manage and maintain security technologies like Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and EndPoint Protection.
- Implement and test disaster recovery and backup protocols.
- Offer third-tier technical support and maintain detailed documentation.
- Continuously identify and implement improvements in performance and security.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in a senior role.
- 5+ years supporting core IT infrastructure services (VMware, Nutanix, Rapid7, Palo Alto, Rubrik).
- Expertise in configuring network equipment including switches and firewalls (Aruba Networks).
- Experience with security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Advanced skills with SIEM, PAM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and Email security gateway.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix systems.
- Desirable professional certifications like CISSP.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Compliance with background check requirements is mandatory.
