About the Role: Hotel Manager, Cruise Line

Responsible for coordinating, supporting, and delivering an exceptional guest service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Practicing GCCL values
• Responsible for entire front desk area and gift shop and co-responsible for housekeeping department
• Organizing and conducting check-in and check-out
• Coordinating and supervising general administrative tasks for all departments
• Responsible for cost, revenue, and inventory administration
• Handling and resolving travelers’ concerns

Skills/Qualifications

• Hands On mentality
• Eye for quality and excellence
• Proven leadership abilities and communication skills
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Fluent command of English
• Work experience on passenger ships
• Seaman book issued from country of residence or Malta (as vessel is sailing under Maltese flag)
• Certificates (at the expense of employee):
  • Basic Safety Training (STCW Code VI/1)
  • Security Awareness Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (STCW Code VI/6-2)
  • Passenger Ship Safety (STCW Code V/2)
  • Proficiency in Survival craft and Rescue Boat (STCW Code VI/2 )

What Grand Circle Crewing Offers

• Monthly basic salary transferred to a bank account of choice
• Tip equally shared through all crew members
• Rotation – 4 months on board 2 months at home (+/- 30 days)
• Length of the contract: yearly, paid all year around
• Insurance: coverage by private insurance company - Allianz
• Bonus – up to 2 monthly salaries (eligible if hired on/or before March 31st)
• Travel policy: travel is arranged by Company from nearest airport to your home city till port of embarkation; and cost covered by company
