Job Summary
The role requires monitoring therapy such as renal function adjustment, anticoagulation, and drug interaction monitoring. You will act as an advanced practitioner, educator, consultant, and leader, collaborating closely with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the emergency care center.
- Influence physician prescribing through clinical pharmacotherapy.
- Monitor patient therapies and ensure optimal medication outcomes.
- Precept pharmacy residents and students.
- Work various shifts including evenings, midnights, and weekends.
Qualifications & Competencies
Doctorate of Pharmacy or equivalent experience. Must be fully licensed as a Pharmacist in Georgia. Core competencies include patient-centered care, integrity, collaboration, communication, respect, quality, adaptability, continuous improvement, leadership, and employee experience focus.
