About the Role
The Enterprise Risk Analyst supports the overall risk management and loss prevention strategy for the Province and all serviced Agencies, Boards, and Commissions. The position involves:
- Identifying and assessing strategic and operational risks
- Recommending loss protection programs to mitigate exposures
- Managing insurance policies and self-insurance programs
- Liaising with insurance brokers on renewals and endorsements
- Reviewing insurance certificates and advising on contractual wordings
- Conducting research and trending analysis related to claims history
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field with a minimum of five years experience, or a master’s degree with three years of related experience. A Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP), Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) or Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation is required alongside a valid class 5 driver’s license.
Additional Information
This is a full-time temporary position (until approximately June 2026) with benefits including a Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Health, Dental, Life Insurance, Disability, Vacation, and Employee Assistance Programs. Employment is subject to background checks and credential verification.
