Overview
The Government of New Brunswick is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst – Asset Management for the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. This role supports capital planning, asset management strategies, and technical guidance for provincial infrastructure assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
- Develop multi-year capital programs aligning with budget forecasts.
- Contribute to asset management strategies for infrastructure.
- Perform asset management analysis and recommend improvements.
- Manage and maintain critical data sources.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations to senior management.
Work Environment
This role is based in an open office environment at 440 King Street, Fredericton, NB. Standard Monday – Friday hours apply with some travel within the province.
Essential Qualifications
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of related experience (3 years supervisory) for Engineer 3, or 5 years (1 year supervisory) for Engineer 2.
- Professional Engineer registration with APENGNB.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license from New Brunswick.
Asset Qualifications
Preference for candidates with asset management, highway, or structural engineering experience in capital planning and maintenance.
