The Government of Alberta is seeking a Supervisor, Program Administration for a temporary full-time position (6 months) in Calgary. The role supports the Assisted Living and Social Services and the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee with administrative operations, policy development, and compliance with relevant legislation.
Role Responsibilities
Reporting to the Public Guardian, you will lead administrative teams and enhance program operations to ensure compliance with the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act, Personal Directives Act, and Mental Health Act.
- Develop and implement policies to improve service delivery.
- Provide expert advice on court applications and legal processes.
- Supervise regional teams and manage court document processing.
- Ensure smooth administrative operations in regional offices.
Qualifications & Assets
Minimum requirements include a one-year certificate in a related field plus two years of related experience or equivalent. Assets include program improvement skills, team supervision, legal document handling, advanced Microsoft Office/M365 proficiency, and strong communication skills.
Additional Information
Hours are 36.25 per week (Monday – Friday). A cover letter is required. Final candidates will undergo security screening; any paperwork or travel costs are the applicant's responsibility.
