About the Role

The Business Analyst will join the Performance and Assurance team on the Get Approval to Spend (GATS) service. You will support government departments in managing spend controls, improving service quality, and ensuring compliance with digital and functional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis in agile delivery and live service teams.
  • Own the GATS support desk and manage support channels.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across central departments, DSIT, and the Cabinet Office.
  • Document epics and stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Analyse support data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Stay updated on digital service standards and cross-government priorities.

Person Specification

Candidates should have solid experience as a business analyst on medium to large-scale projects with a track record of improving user journeys and services. Excellent communication skills, independent working ability, and experience with performance metrics and user research are essential.

Security Clearance

This role requires SC clearance. Normally, five years' UK residency is needed, though there might be additional checks if this criterion is not fully met.
