Senior Instructional Developer

Overview

GovCIO is looking for a Senior Instructional Developer to create curriculum in support of ACC/A6 ACP and FACT Kit training efforts. This fully remote position is based within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather course material.
• Analyze program requirements and develop strategic solutions.
• Convert written materials into interactive courseware.
• Create user-friendly interfaces for content contributors and end-users.
• Develop and update e-learning programs and maintain courseware alignment with objectives.
• Stay current with training research including adult learning and motivation theories.
• Evaluate or oversee contractors/vendors for training program development.
• Create course effectiveness criteria and recommend improvements.
• Select or develop teaching aids and multimedia materials.
• Develop flowcharts and storyboards from course materials.
• Operate various computer-based training systems including distance learning platforms.
• Produce quick reference guides when necessary.

Qualifications

High School diploma with 9+ years of experience or equivalent experience.

Required Skills and Experience

• TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience with Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline & 360
• Experience with DOD curriculum development.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Good communication skills to manage stakeholder requirements.
