About the Role
GovCIO is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Consolidated Corporate Support Services (CCSS) program, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Corporate Portfolio. This fully remote, full-time position is open to candidates within the Continental United States (CONUS).
Responsibilities
- Involved in system planning and development deployment, ensuring software compliance standards are met.
- Design graphical user interfaces (GUI) to meet user needs.
- Prepare operating instructions, compile program development documentation, and analyze system capabilities to resolve issues related to program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Build add-on modules using application program language.
- Provide guidance and best practices for application upgrades and modernizations using Angular and .NET Core.
- Design, develop, and test new features in VA-provided applications.
- Communicate regularly with colleagues involved in all development processes.
- Analyze, implement, test, and troubleshoot bug fixes.
- Determine user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems; prepare operating instructions; design and develop autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
- Ensure software standards are met.
- Apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques frequently.
- Receive assignments as objectives and establish goals to meet them.
- Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- Work is reviewed for technical soundness, adequacy, and accuracy.
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience (or equivalent experience).
- Angular: Minimum 2 years of experience (minimum requirement).
- Basic HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 5.x, TypeScript 4.x, Bootstrap 5.x, JQuery 3.6.x.
- MS SQL Server: Ability to write stored procedures, understand SQL, create tables, and manage databases.
