Overview

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Operations Center (NOC) manages and monitors network operations and cybersecurity posture. GovCIO is seeking a Project Coordinator to support VA Project Management teams and Executive staff in day-to-day operations, project planning, task monitoring, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and visualize team work and schedules
  • Capture meeting notes, themes and action items
  • Collaborate with GovCIO Project Managers and VA leadership
  • Monitor project tasks, status, and enforce policies
  • Assist in report preparation and administrative coordination
  • Apply project management methodologies and office management systems
  • Leverage Microsoft tools including PowerPoint, MS Teams, Word and Excel

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5-8 years of experience, or 5 additional years as substitute for a degree. Experience in large IT environments and Federal contracting is required. Ability to pass a Tier 4 (BI) Government Background Investigation is mandatory, with an expectation to attain PMP certification within 6 months.
