M365 Global Administrator at GovCIO
GovCIO is seeking a highly skilled M365 Global Administrator to support an important customer contract. This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote within the United States.
Responsibilities
As an M365 Global Administrator, you will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of computer systems, encompassing operating systems, software, and hardware in both networked and stand-alone configurations. Your role will involve ensuring system integrity and performing necessary system and server upgrades. You may also be tasked with developing and documenting new methods to enhance network/system operations and implementing procedural changes.
- Consult with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff to resolve complex problems.
- Coordinate and execute operation and maintenance activities for networks and servers.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend strategies to reduce their severity or frequency.
- Plan for the seamless transition of development and/or production environments to new technologies.
- Utilize system software to effectively monitor the performance of system files.
- Manage system data to maintain optimal performance efficiencies.
- Study system requirements to determine the most effective server installation methods and procedures.
- Administer and maintain computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Strategize, coordinate, and implement robust network/system security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware.
- Conduct regular monitoring and analysis to inform short and long-range planning for in-house systems.
- Prepare and ensure the existence of appropriate documentation, including operational instructions.
- Write or modify basic scripts to address performance issues and automate administration tasks.
- Propose changes to improve systems and network configurations, and identify hardware or software requirements for these enhancements.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of experience, or equivalent commensurate experience.
