Overview

GovCIO is hiring for a Junior Computer User Support Specialist to support its US Coast Guard program. This is a fully remote position within the United States.

Responsibilities

The role involves providing technical support for computers and associated networks, including installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of personal computers, network equipment, and related software. Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing, servicing, and repairing computer hardware and software.
  • Connecting devices to data networks and maintaining network diagrams.
  • Maintaining daily logs and circuit records.
  • Instructing and training users in the use of computers and networks.
  • Providing basic PC, PBX, and network software programming support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years of experience (or commensurate experience) is required. Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
