LLM Engineer (AI)
Gotfriends, an established Israeli Fintech startup, is seeking a talented LLM Engineer to join our newly formed AI team. We are developing an AI and Big Data platform that maps the financial internet to assist governments and tax authorities in uncovering money laundering and tax evasion. Having secured significant funding (Round B) and employing dozens of people globally, we offer a dynamic and impactful work environment. This role is based in Tel Aviv (Train-line) with a hybrid work model, requiring one day remote.
About the Role
As an LLM Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing AI/ML systems in production end-to-end. Your primary focus will be on Large Language Models (LLMs), Autonomous Agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. You will build pipelines for Information Extraction, Reasoning, and Classification on unstructured data from sources like Social Media and various Documents. A key part of your role will involve utilizing VectorDBs and LLM Orchestration Frameworks to identify financial fraud and crypto-asset patterns, as well as integrating with external APIs and knowledge sources to bridge the gap between digital footprints and enforcement efforts.

- 5 years of experience in software development
- 5 years of experience in Python development
- 2 years of experience working with LLMs (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Gemini)
- 2 years of experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
