Job Description
Role Snapshot: AutoCAD Revit Technician MEP Drafting
As an AutoCAD Revit Technician MEP Drafting, you will be responsible for the accuracy and coordination of MEP drafting outputs crucial for commercial building projects, primarily supporting a U.S.-based engineering client. Your work ensures that all drawings, models, and document packages are technically precise, properly layered, and consistently aligned with interdisciplinary design standards.
This is a structured, production-focused role where you will interpret engineering specifications, modify BIM and architectural files for MEP use, and operate within established workflows, revision cycles, and strict submission deadlines. This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize technical precision, can work effectively independently during night hours, and prefer clearly defined deliverables over ambiguous tasks.
Candidate Profile
You are likely a strong fit for this AutoCAD Revit Technician MEP Drafting role if you possess:
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on AutoCAD experience in a commercial environment.
- Proven experience producing 2D and 3D MEP drawings, sections, elevations, and coordinated plans.
- Working knowledge of Revit, including model setup, navigation, and import/export between Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience modifying architectural or BIM files for MEP design use.
- Exposure to U.S.-based engineering standards, commercial buildings, or interdisciplinary coordination workflows.
- Ability to work independently in a permanent night shift schedule (11:00 PM–8:00 AM, PH time) in a fully remote setup.
- A degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s).
Strong signals for success also include:
- MEP experience specifically in commercial building projects.
- Experience preparing jurisdictional response documentation.
- Familiarity with maintaining CAD standards and internal drafting protocols.

You will ensure that MEP designs are thoroughly coordinated and entirely conflict-free across all disciplines.
- Review drawings meticulously with MEP/FP/IT design teams.
- Identify clashes and inconsistencies efficiently across design packages.
- Maintain strict alignment with project schedules and critical submission deadlines.
Documentation & Standards Control
You will protect drawing integrity and compliance through disciplined documentation practices.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive project documentation and revisions.

- Participate actively in coordination meetings and conference calls as required.
- Provide precise technical drafting input during design reviews.
- Assist with the meticulous preparation of jurisdictional comment response letters.
