Gorilla Logic is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of developers and engineers to build robust infrastructure and streamline CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities

• Strategize, design, implement, and manage the CI/CD pipeline for automated product and service deployments.
• Implement automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Develop tools to minimize errors and enhance customer experience.
• Scale and establish comprehensive monitoring capabilities for applications and infrastructure.
• Build and maintain configuration management systems.
• Design robust procedures for system troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.
• Maintain source control systems for both applications and infrastructure.
• Manage cloud and virtualized infrastructure.

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of development experience, including expertise in DevOps and release management.
• 5+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipeline environments.
• 3+ years of Linux experience within a development context.
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining cloud-native services with AWS.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and/or scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Groovy.
• Experience deploying web and/or mobile applications across QA, staging, and production environments.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet, Chef, and/or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Expert knowledge of source code management and various Git strategies.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with Agile team members.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Bonus Skills

• Cloud certifications or extensive cloud-native infrastructure experience.
• Experience building and managing applications with package/project managers such as Maven/Gradle, Pip, NPM, or Yarn.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies like Jenkins, Gitlab CI, GitHub Actions, or Circle CI.
• Experience with networking, storage, and advanced release management.
• Linux Foundation or HashiCorp certifications.
