Role Overview
The Manager, IT Strategy & Operations role is positioned in the Office of the CIO, serving as a strategic and operational anchor for IT communications, governance, and BAU information governance practices. The role partners with business and technology stakeholders to drive transparency, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Communications & Engagement: Develop and manage annual IT communications calendar, including town halls, leader meetings, and CIO messaging. Coordinate content and support feedback across platforms.
- Governance Reporting & Operational Oversight: Execute governance processes for Quarterly Performance Reports, board submissions, and IT committee deliverables. Facilitate TechOps meetings and maintain dashboard metrics.
- Information Governance: Maintain and evolve the Data Governance Framework. Coordinate with teams to ensure data ownership accountability and enforce compliance standards.
- CIO Dashboard & Metrics: Manage monthly dashboard inputs, create templates, and lead annual reviews for accurate reporting.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in IT communications, governance, and information management.
- Proven track record managing governance forums, developing communication plans, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
- Strong technical skills including advanced use of Microsoft 365, data governance tools, and dashboard management.
