Google Cloud's Web Solutions Developers are at the forefront of innovating and developing software-based solutions for complex business challenges. As a Web Solutions Developer, you will utilize your technical aptitude and design skills to analyze problems, deliver elegant and scalable solutions, and identify and resolve dependencies. You are a full-stack developer proficient in various web technologies and back-end systems. Frequent and close interaction with global and cross-functional stakeholders will be essential to identify pain points and devise innovative technical solutions. A passion for developing software that drives business insight or scales solutions is key.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications or tooling specifically for cloud support.
• Write and thoroughly review detailed technical design documents.
• Monitor and enhance the performance of applications and services.
• Partner closely with tech leads to build reliable and scalable features.
• Understand customer and agent issues, advocating for their needs with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• 6 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
• Experience with programming in at least one of the following: Java, Python, GoLang, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using test frameworks.
• Experience with CRMs and billing systems.
• Experience managing software development projects and prioritizing tasks.
• Familiarity with application-level data storage, retrieval, and analysis tools and concepts such as SQL, NoSQL, logs analysis, protocol buffers, and MapReduce.
• Proficiency in machine learning, data analysis, and data science.
• Ability to work across the stack, including front-end, back-end, and integrations.
