About the Role

At Google, as a UX Visual Designer, Search, you will craft industry-leading user experiences. The role involves weaving space, typography, color, iconography, and texture together to build accessible, beautiful products. You will collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to translate abstract concepts into engaging visual experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to create cohesive visual products.
  • Develop UX patterns, components and interaction frameworks.
  • Defend Google products and uphold the brand promise.
  • Partner with visual programs to evolve new design styles.
  • Maintain tools, processes, and communication for asset management.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 4 years of visual design in product or UX/UI design, along with a portfolio link. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience in UX pattern development, motion design, and prototype creation.

Additional Information

Applicants in San Francisco and Los Angeles are encouraged, in accordance with local Fair Chance Ordinances. You will have the opportunity to choose your preferred working location from these cities. The full-time position offers a base salary range of $129,000 to $185,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
