About the Role
The UX Designer YouTube Shopping role at Google involves using user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide design solutions using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups or fidelity prototypes.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience and 4 years of experience in interaction design for product or User Experience (UX) design. A portfolio, website, or similar work samples is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with design tools for fidelity mockups and prototypes, designing and launching consumer products, and excellent visual design skills. A strong understanding of design process, methodology, and human-centered design is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Communicate user experience through wireframes, flow diagrams, and prototypes.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into product updates.
- Contribute to the shared platform design language with common components and patterns.
