About the Role
As a UX Designer, AI Research at Google, you will focus on creating industry-leading user experiences by leveraging AI/ML and Large Language Model (LLM) technology. You will work in a collaborative environment, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, and design teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Portfolio or website link showcasing your work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Design, HCI, Computer Science or related field.
- 12 years of experience in product design or UX.
- 3 years of experience working with executive leaders.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and video creation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop groundbreaking LLM applications.
- Advocate for UX product strategy and consistent design language.
- Foster a user-centric design culture and uphold design principles.
- Partner with various stakeholders to grasp requirements and deliver creative solutions.
- Deliver high-quality design solutions within technical constraints.
Additional Information
Applicants in San Francisco are welcome. Candidates can indicate a preferred working location from Mountain View, CA or San Francisco, CA. Compensation details: Base salary range is $178,000-$265,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Google's commitment to equal opportunity is paramount.
