Overview
Google is seeking a UX Design Patterns and Productivity Specialist to accelerate the adoption of design systems and design tokens within the Google Ads ecosystem. This role collaborates with UX, engineering, and product management teams to improve design productivity and quality.
Benefits & Compensation
This role offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, sick time, maternity leave, baby bonding leave, and 13 paid holidays. The US base salary range is $151,000-$222,000 plus bonus, equity and additional benefits.
Responsibilities
- Accelerate the adoption of search design system tokens, patterns, and components within the Ads UI and SAGE UX teams.
- Identify and deliver solutions that reduce friction for designers using patterned design solutions.
- Document, analyze, and propose initiatives to improve design productivity, accelerating project delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering partners to drive iterative improvements in production-facing code.
- Manage stakeholder networks including UX teams, engineering, product management and Search partners.
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 6 years of visual design/UX experience, strong experience with Figma and design systems. Provide a portfolio or relevant links to your work.
Preferred: Master’s degree or equivalent experience, 3 years in cross-functional settings, 2 years leading design projects, experience in ads or search, technical development skills and coding/scripting skills (React or Figma plugins).
