Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 10 years of experience in policy, legal, Trust and Safety or technology environments. 2 years of leadership and people management experience focused on hiring, mentoring and retaining talent.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience deploying technical solutions, including AI, to solve large scale problems. Experience leading cross-functional projects, managing medium-sized teams, and independently completing projects on time. Solid understanding of brand safety for advertisers and excellent communication skills.
About The Job
As a Trust and Safety Manager, Platform Enforcement at Google, you will protect users and partners by safeguarding Google products such as Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. You will work globally with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and fight abuse and fraud in real-time, while handling challenging content and urgent escalations, including on-call weekend and holiday rotations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of analysts to protect users from policy-violating content.
- Develop enforcement strategies for large-scale content violations and fraud.
- Deploy AI solutions to address fraud and policy-violating content.
- Identify product improvement opportunities for safer user design.
- Handle urgent escalations from various stakeholders including advertisers and regulators.
- Lead cross-functional projects with Engineering, Legal, and Product teams.
- Collaborate with policy development teams to update policies meeting regulatory requirements.
