About the Role
The Threat Investigations Analyst at YouTube Trust & Safety is responsible for conducting technical and behavioral investigations to counter abuse and threat activities. The role involves analyzing sophisticated abuse technique, writing analytic products, and engaging with cross-functional teams such as legal, product and engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate behavioral abuse and threat actors on YouTube.
- Participate in high velocity analytic workflow under tight deadlines.
- Prepare written analytic products and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale workflows and enhance detection mechanisms.
- Utilize data analytics to improve detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber-security or similar field; experience with cyber investigation techniques.
Preferred qualifications: Experience in Behavioral Abuse/Influence Operations investigations, analytic writing skills, and capability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced industry.
