About the Role
The Technical Solutions Engineer Data Analytics at Google Cloud supports customers transitioning to Google Cloud. You will troubleshoot technical issues, provide technical consulting, and help resolve deployment obstacles with cutting-edge technologies such as BigQuery, Linux/Unix, and container orchestration tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience with Web Tech, Data/Big Data, SQL, BigQuery, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP.
- Coding experience in general purpose languages like Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Linux/Unix or similar operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL, or data science.
- SQL database administration and experience with open source communities.
- Consulting experience in database design and architecture.
- Knowledge of debugging distributed applications in Docker or Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of Google Cloud's data analytics tools.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose customer issues in a 24-hour support environment.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert internally.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and scale.
- Work shift patterns including non-standard hours and weekends if necessary.
