About the Technical Solutions Consultant Role at Google

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will lead the technical relationship for Google's largest advertising clients and/or product partners. This role involves guiding cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for external clients and partners. From initial concept design and testing through to data analysis and ongoing support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and product partnerships.

You will skillfully balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, developing innovative, cutting-edge solutions. Acting as a trusted partner and consultant, you will build tools, automate products, and oversee the technical and operational aspects of Google's partnerships. A key part of your role will also be to develop product strategy and effectively prioritize projects and resources. At gTech, we bring Google's world-changing products and services to life, supporting customers globally with technical skill, product expertise, and a deep understanding of their complex needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
• 5 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
• 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages to both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Understand open-ended business problems and produce a results-oriented strategy to solve those problems.
• Build and action product architectures and solution roadmaps, including the design of infrastructure necessary to support the business objectives of our stakeholders.
• Create launch programs with partners to ensure that new products and feature releases are tested before broad-scale deployment.
• Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical tests.
• Ensure that technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other investigative teams to access data for operational reporting and data visualization.
• Collaborate with Product Engineers to enhance core platforms and create applications using standard and Google-specific software development tools.
