About the Role
As a Technical Solutions Consultant Manager, Cloud Developer and Experiences within Google Cloud's Developer and Experiences team, you will empower customers to build secure and reliable applications by providing a compelling end-to-end experience and an underlying enterprise-grade platform. You will act as the "Human API" for key accounts, holding deeply technical engineering positions with end-to-end ownership of customer technical success and realized business outcomes. This role involves bridging the "last mile" gap, ensuring that AI developer tools deliver tangible, sustained value, and directly informing our product roadmap based on real-world usage.
You will directly contribute to fostering a growing Google developer ecosystem, creating delightful Day Zero experiences for builders, and ensuring well-lit, secure paths for agents and applications on Google Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Manage the customer's entire technical journey from initial engagement through sustained success by rapidly architecting, prototyping, and implementing bespoke solutions to "last mile" technical gaps, ensuring the realization of specific business outcomes.
- Serve as the primary technical conduit between customer usage and the core engineering roadmap, systematically codifying field learnings and bespoke solutions into reusable product patterns, translating them into high-fidelity, scalable product requirements and feature requests for internal teams.
- Secure and convert high-value accounts into successful long-term adopters and users by measuring success through customer outcomes, including adoption growth, usage lift (MAU/DAU), and subsequent business generation and expansion.
- Transform customers into passionate advocates by ensuring technical and business outcomes are met while cultivating relationships, driving Advocacy Score improvements (NPS/CSAT), and enabling references for marketing and future customer engagements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in coding, software development, technical consulting, or a related engineering role.
- 5 years of experience managing a technical team in a cloud computing environment or customer-facing role.
- 2 years of experience with building Generative AI solutions.
- Experience writing production-level code in one or more programming languages.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
- 7 years of experience architecting and delivering end-to-end solutions in a cloud environment (GCP, Cloud Computing Platform).
- Experience in consulting, technical consulting in a customer-facing role, with solid results working with a variety of different types of customers, engineers, and business.
- Experience in building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality, and code health.
