About the Role: Technical Program Manager at Google
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will leverage your technical expertise to lead intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to define requirements, identify potential risks, manage project timelines, and ensure clear communication with cross-functional partners across the entire company. You should be adept at explaining complex analyses and recommendations to executives while also being comfortable discussing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand work problems, define program goals, prioritize deliverables, and discuss program impact.
- Proactively prioritize program goals, translate stakeholder needs into actionable program goals and deliverables with minimal supervision, and contribute to key prioritization decisions.
- Define project scope and effectively develop, execute, or manage project plans for assigned programs.
- Monitor key program metrics, identify potential deviations, and implement corrective actions for critical issues.
- Identify, communicate, and partner with relevant stakeholders across various teams to drive impact and achieve mutual objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience building, automating, and developing distributed systems from the ground up.
