About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager - Third Party Data Centers at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and drive projects through the entire lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of our growing global fleet of data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop processes, standards, and procedures to transition third-party delivered data center facilities from construction to operations.
- Manage delivery validation processes ensuring construction quality standards are met.
- Establish controls to reduce operational risks during phased construction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align expectations before major milestones.
- Ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication with all stakeholders.

You will work alongside negotiators, project managers, engineers, and operations teams to deliver data center projects ranging from greenfield sites to hyper-scale deployments.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of program or project management experience, experience with data center equipment and environments, and vendor management expertise.
Preferred Qualifications: 8 years of managing cross-functional projects, facility operations experience, startup/commissioning process understanding, and excellent skills in requirement gathering, task prioritization, and scheduling.
Compensation
The US base salary range is $183,000-$271,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation is determined by role, level, location, and additional factors.
