About the Role

The Technical Program Manager Metro Planner at Google leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will use technical expertise to drive EMEA network planning activities including network topology, asset planning, and risk assessment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in network architecture, design, and infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering infrastructure assets and vendor management.
  • Knowledge of IP networking, OSP/ISP, and optical design.
  • Ability to balance business and technical understanding.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead EMEA network planning and asset/infrastructure forecasting.
  • Project manage planning pipelines and schedules.
  • Analyze and translate demand forecasts into capacity plans.
  • Conduct technical risk assessments and what-if analyses.
  • Communicate with technical, business, and deployment partners.
