The Team

This team is responsible for developing and maintaining data centers and building next-generation Google platforms, ensuring the best and fastest user experience. We keep our networks up and running, ensuring our users have the best and fastest experience possible.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Cloud leadership for guidance on technology risk-related questions such as identity and access management, change management, software development lifecycle, network security, data loss prevention, incident management, and vulnerability management.
  • Work with engineering organizations to identify, develop, document, and test controls for design and operating effectiveness in coordination with the Cloud controls team.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with Cloud and Engineering stakeholders at operational and executive leadership levels, communicating risk and compliance topics and collaborating to improve risk management processes.
  • Support the regulatory affairs and stakeholder engagement teams during audits and examinations, identify both qualitative and quantitative metrics that can be leveraged to measure effectiveness, and drive improvements to the technology risk program.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
  • Experience in managing programs involving security development, vulnerability management, or other security protocols.
