As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In support of Platforms and Devices's mission on personal AI, the H2O Intelligence (H2O AI) team focuses on adding new sensing capabilities and intelligence through AI for Health. The work focuses on the personal health agent, as well as developing new sensing and intelligence features for health and home across the various surfaces.
In this role, you will be working with the Public Health Authority (PHA) Intelligence team to develop and evaluate a Personal Health Agent that uses Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to fulfill the mission. With the power of AI/ML and the knowledge of Google tools and technologies, your goal is to help the users understand their overall health and provide guidance for how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Collaborate and build alignment with cross-functional partners such as, Product Management, Engineering, Research, Design, User Experience, Clinical, Regulatory, Research, Partnerships, Customer Support, and Marketing to define all workstreams, requirements, schedules, resourcing, and milestones.
- Develop data-driven insights and solutions to issues, trends, and perspectives that may influence program execution and strategy.
- Communicate project status to different audiences, including cross-functional teams and executives.
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and thought leadership to run projects end-to-end from early exploration, model development, user validation to productionization.
- Help the team work as a high-performing team in a culture of trust and respect.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience working in health, consumer electronics, or in wearable technologies.
- Experience in driving Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs and building applications with hillclimbing and evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with hardware and software development cycles and processes that ensure successful product launch or go-to-market execution.
