About the Role
The Technical Program Manager Global Server Operations role at Google is focused on overseeing and continuously improving standardized business processes for data center machine operations including rack moves, upgrades, and decommissions. You will work with multiple teams such as Global Infrastructure, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Data Center operations to drive efficiency and operational excellence across Google’s global data centers.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and 2 years of experience in program management.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working cross-functionally; proven leadership in data center operations; strong understanding of data center logistics; capability to architect and synchronize workflows; ability to develop dashboards and queries (PLX) for data driven decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement standardized business processes for machine operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop best practices.
- Develop, track, and refine KPIs to measure operational success.
- Manage complex initiatives across the machine lifecycle.
- Lead high-urgency rollouts of storage capacity post-GA.
