About the Role: Technical Program Manager, Cloud AI at Google

As a Technical Program Manager, Cloud AI at Google, you will leverage your deep technical expertise to drive complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion within the Cloud AI domain. This role is crucial for delivering Generative AI products to enterprise customers, working collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and leadership to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure timely releases. You will thrive in a dynamic environment, directly influencing Google's cutting-edge AI strategy and empowering developers to build the next generation of intelligent applications.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Knowledge of AI model training, testing, evaluation, and tuning processes.
  • Knowledge of Key Performance Indicators for AI products.
  • Understanding of ML/AI principles and their distinctions from traditional software development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project life-cycles, including gathering requirements, assessing risks, and prioritizing features with stakeholders (product, engineering, etc.).
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other partners to define work streams, requirements, schedules, resources, and milestones.
  • Apply technical knowledge and thought leadership to enhance project efficiency.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to optimize team operations.
  • Oversee important customer engagements, promote new evaluation methodologies and standard procedures, and identify Key Performance Indicators and data quality metrics for success.
