About the Role
As an expert in the talent needs of the business, the Tech Executive Recruiter will act as an adviser to individuals engaged in Google’s hiring process. This role focuses on identifying and cultivating technical leadership talent essential for building, delivering, and driving Google's innovative technologies and services. The recruiter will utilize various tools, resources, and sourcing methodologies to engage talent, develop relationships, and match them with leadership opportunities. They will serve as a trusted advisor to Google leaders, playing the role of a talent scout to uncover top market talent, develop search strategies, and lead engagements to position Google for future success. The People Operations team at Google is committed to reinventing the human resources field through a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities
- Develop and own search strategies and deliver research against those strategies for executive searches across various technical functions (e.g., engineering, product management, etc.).
- Provide project management, driving searches forward and creating consistent experiences for hiring managers/clients, applicants and colleagues.
- Partner with the leaders on technical hires, providing domain and market insights and trends, and advising executives on talent for their business needs.
- Build relationships for the future with passive applicants and talent.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems, services, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in executive-level technical talent search in an executive search firm, in-house executive search function.
- 3 years of experience in client management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting executive level Engineering talent.
- Experience running executive searches full life-cycle as well as with leverage from a Research partner.
- Experience with executive compensation negotiations.

Location & Compensation
This full-time position offers a choice of preferred working locations from Seattle, WA; Austin, TX; Mountain View, CA; New York, NY; and San Francisco, CA. The US base salary range for this role is $131,000-$192,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
