Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory experience or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience leading and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives for large organizations, with the ability to solve strategic and operational problems.
  • Ability to develop frameworks and understand complex business constructs and macro-environments.
  • Ability to guide decision-making and articulate business needs and solutions.

About the job

In this role, you will run operations and help inform strategic decisions relating to product and partnership growth for the Payments and Shopping (Commerce) product areas (PA). You will work to identify business needs and coordinate and formulate various types of strategic projects regularly. You will actively collaborate with local and global stakeholders within the Partnerships, Marketing, Product and broader Global Business Organization to articulate and synthesize the key priorities and help the teams report on progress to executive leadership on the same. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with APAC commerce leadership to develop recommendations on forward-looking initiatives and help drive through implementation.
  • Help define partnerships GTM for new and existing features across Payments and Shopping teams.
  • Run point on key operational workflows such as quarterly business reviews (QBR) and setting objectives and key results (OKR).
  • Analyze business performance and provide unlocks in areas that are underperforming.
  • Support efforts like business planning and cross-functional coordination with Product, marketing, GTM and other functions.
  • Support the team in the development of an APAC voice on product priorities to positively influence global product strategy.
