Strategic Project Lead at Google
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team at Google ensures the smooth operation of Google's complex and evolving Ads business. We are crucial in defining go-to-market strategies and guaranteeing their flawless execution and operational efficiency. Our team comprises individuals who are analytical and strategic, with a practical approach to achieving objectives. We have embedded teams within major Ads business areas and global teams that collaborate across these areas.
About the Job
As a Strategic Project Lead, you will be instrumental in driving progress and ensuring the successful delivery of EMEA-wide strategic, organizational, and operational projects. This role involves close collaboration with a diverse range of partners, including Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and gTech.
Responsibilities
- Drive progress and ensure delivery of EMEA-wide strategic, organizational and operational projects, in collaboration with a wide range of partners across Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, gTech and others.
- Build and manage relationships with key internal senior stakeholders.
- Lead presentations and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to regional leadership and beyond, gaining buy-in on recommended next steps.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working within management consulting or project management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives.
- Ability to work with people from a broad range of backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to move from detail to executive level strategy and presentations.
- Excellent communicator with great people and presentation skills, as well as the ability to write well and translate complex issues into simple language that people who are not experts can understand.
- Excellent influencing and senior stakeholder management skills.
