Overview
As a Strategic Partner Development Lead Social Impact Partnerships at Google, you will open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions, and evaluate business opportunities. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Sales teams to develop partnerships that support impactful product initiatives.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience with at least 7 years in business development, partner management, or deal strategy. Experience in Social Impact spaces, Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries. Proven ability to work with C-level executives and manage agreements and contracts.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience designing global partnership processes, managing multi-sector partnerships, and excellent analytical skills to structure partnership models.
About the Role
You will be responsible for driving product partnerships from concept to launch. This includes defining partnership strategies, sourcing opportunities, performing due diligence, and leading agreements. You will also oversee internal coordination and strategy communication with teams across Google.
This role works with the Social Impact partnerships team to enable product initiatives that address user needs in areas such as education, climate, crisis response, economic opportunity, health, and civics.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to drive partnership initiatives.
- Define strategy and identify new product-enabling opportunities.
- Perform due diligence and manage the end-to-end partnership process.
- Coordinate with global teams and lead internal and external communications.
Compensation and Location
The role is full-time with a US base salary ranging from $134,000 to $196,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Applicants can choose their preferred working location from Mountain View, CA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Washington D.C., DC, USA, though this role may be located in Playa Vista, CA.
