Overview

Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its Google Pay team. In this role, you will lead high-caliber engineering teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable payment systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • 8 years of technical experience including managing software teams
  • 3 years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Expertise in distributed systems, high reliability systems, API design, and micro-services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and leading high performance agile teams
  • Exposure to consumer end-to-end product design including UX and front-end
