Overview
Google is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for its Google Pay team. In this role, you will lead high-caliber engineering teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable payment systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
- 8 years of technical experience including managing software teams
- 3 years of experience leading engineering teams
- Expertise in distributed systems, high reliability systems, API design, and micro-services
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and leading high performance agile teams
- Exposure to consumer end-to-end product design including UX and front-end
