About the Role

As a Sourcer, Cloud Horizontals at Google, you will be instrumental in identifying and engaging top-tier talent. This role focuses on cultivating relationships and articulating the unique opportunities Google offers. You will serve as an expert in the talent needs of our business, advising exceptional individuals through Google's comprehensive hiring process. Your work ensures candidates are well-informed and excited about potential opportunities within the company.

You will tell the story of Google to the world, engaging in lively and thoughtful conversations with candidates. An expert in the talent needs of our business, you'll be an adviser to the extraordinary people you find, engage, and guide through Google's hiring process. Your analytical mind, curiosity, and sincere approach will be essential in meeting the demands of a company that continues to grow and transform the industry.

This position is within Google's People Operations team, which focuses on bringing innovative people to Google and providing programs for their success. We adopt a data-driven approach to reinvent the human resources field.

Responsibilities

• Act as a search expert within Cloud by understanding hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements.
• Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analyzing data, identifying alternatives when circumstances change, and seeking out responsibilities beyond the job.
• Engage potential candidates and evaluate their fit for open roles.
• Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all candidates with dignity and respect.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to generate ideas, leverage resources, and share information that facilitates an effective and innovative sourcing strategy according to assigned timelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in sourcing or equivalent experience working in Sales, Customer Service, Account Management, Business Development, Operations, Lead Generation, or a related field.
• 1 year of sourcing experience at a recruitment agency or in-house recruiting team.

• Experience with Cloud Software Engineering across North America.
• Experience with strong results at top technology companies.
• Ability to solve complex problems and deliver significant impact.
• Ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
• Excellent people management and customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.

Location and Compensation

This role may be located in various US cities including Austin, TX; Ann Arbor, MI; Atlanta, GA; Boulder, CO; Chicago, IL; Mountain View, CA; New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; Seattle, WA; San Francisco, CA; Washington D.C., DC. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000-$153,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
