About the Solutions Consultant, Google for Education Role
Google for Education is seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in helping educational institutions transform learning through the power of Google's AI and collaboration tools. You will be at the forefront of bringing the best of Google to educators and students, driving success through direct sales, partnerships, and community development.
What You'll Do
As a Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding customer business and academic requirements to design and architect solutions that integrate Google for Education toolsets. You'll act as a technical advocate, promoting the capabilities of Google for Education in customer-facing meetings, workshops, and public events. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams is key to providing customer feedback and influencing product roadmaps. You will also prepare and present compelling demonstrations of Google for Education tools, such as Gemini, Workspace, and Chrome, and address technical questions throughout the sales and adoption process. This role involves taking ownership of the technical aspects of solutions, including bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and coordinating technical resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in a technical project management or a customer-facing role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Generative AI Leader; Cloud Professional Collaboration Engineer certified; or a related equivalent professional accreditation.
- Experience with endpoint devices, browser-based applications, and collaboration tools in workplace/school digital transformation projects.
- Experience in architecting cloud-based analytics systems and dashboards.
- Experience in selling or deploying similar products like Google’s collaboration and AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Workspace, Classroom, Chromebook) in education or enterprise settings.
- Knowledge of regional end-user computing technology and EdTech market needs, competitive insights, and latest industry trends.
