About the Job
As a Solutions Architect, Google Cloud, you will collaborate with customers and internal Engineering teams to design and build secure, scalable technical solutions. You will share these innovations across multiple channels, including white papers, open-source repositories, webinars, blogs, and live events. Your passion for technology, continuous learning, and problem-solving—combined with strong communication skills—will empower decision-makers to confidently adopt Google Cloud and drive their businesses forward.
Working across various industries, you will help customers optimize their unique business use cases. A key part of your role involves creating deployable technical assets that allow customers to securely integrate Google Cloud with other technologies. You will regularly present these solutions to clients and represent Google at industry events. Additionally, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering teams, relaying valuable customer insights to reduce friction and accelerate product adoption.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience with cloud infrastructure (hardware shapes, sizes, auto-scaling, auto-provisioning, etc.), working with infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, or software as a service.
- Experience with coding in Python or equivalent, scripting, infrastructure as code (IaC), and using OSS frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jax, etc.
- Experience with scientific computing/HPC technologies, including orchestrators such as Slurm, Kubernetes, or Cluster Toolkit.
- Experience building and operationalizing machine learning models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience in a software/systems engineering or lead position.
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools to accelerate adoption, consistency and auditability.
- Experience with AI/ML related frameworks to execute customer use cases across training to inference.
- Experience architecting core cloud services, compute, storage, and networking to support customer use cases and requirements.
- Experience designing, building, and managing complex applications and large-scale AI compute clusters on Google Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise around HPC and AI/ML infrastructure, and effectively promote Google Cloud with customers, at conferences, and online.
- Create and deliver technical assets for solutions such as best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations adapted for technical and business stakeholders.
- Support account managers and Cloud Sales Engineering teams as needed through all phases of customer engagement.
- Provide customer and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help shape product direction.
- Facilitate deep technical discussions with customers, partners, and Googlers.
Compensation and Benefits
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$263,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
