Job Details
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages or 1 year with an advanced degree. 2 years building developer tools such as compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, and test automation frameworks. Experience applying artificial intelligence solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. Experience with data structures, algorithms, performance analysis, large-scale systems, data visualization, debugging, accessible technologies, code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, software test engineering, and Generative AI technologies.

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies that impact billions of users. As a Software Engineer III Engineering Productivity Pixel Wearables, you will work on end-to-end testing for products like the Google Pixel Watch. You will join the Pixel Wearables Test Engineering team to deliver exceptional quality through rigorous testing and innovative AI/ML solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build AI/ML solutions including RAG systems for automated test generation and debugging.
- Partner with Test Engineers to translate testing workflows into technical requirements.
- Create front-end components and dashboards for tool interaction and report visualization.
- Lead key components in testing frameworks from conception to deployment.
- Evaluate new AI technologies and software engineering practices for continuous improvement.
Compensation
The US base salary range for this position is $141,000-$202,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Additional compensation details are based on work location and experience.
