Software Engineer, GenAI, Ads Forecasting at Google
Google is seeking talented Software Engineers to join their team, focusing on GenAI for Ads Forecasting. About the Role
As a Software Engineer at Google, you will contribute to products that handle information at a massive scale. You will be part of the Google Ads team, which powers the open internet with cutting-edge technology. This includes developing products for search, display, shopping, travel, and video advertising, as well as analytics. Your work will help businesses of all sizes grow by creating trusted experiences and delivering measurable results through effective advertiser tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain product or system development code.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders on design and code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content, adapting it based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing root causes and impact.
- Implement Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions, leverage ML infrastructure, and contribute to data preparation, optimization, and performance enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
