About the Role

Google's Software Developer III, Developer Experience works on next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect and interact with information. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions for cloud-native applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience designing and documenting APIs for cloud-native applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Contribute to documentation and educational content.
• Triage and debug system issues, analyzing impact on hardware, network, or service.

Compensation

This full-time Canada role offers a base salary range of CAD 144,000-148,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
