About the Role
At Google, as a Senior UX Visual Designer Material Studio, you contribute toward creating industry-leading user experiences by shaping cohesive visual systems that include typography, color, layout, and interactive design elements.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 6 years of visual design experience in product or UX/UI design; portfolio required.
Preferred: Master’s degree or equivalent; 8 years of experience; strong skills in interactive design, layout, composition, and brand style.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design teams across Google to implement Material Design.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to solve product challenges holistically.
- Establish visual systems for color, typography, and layout.
- Define brand expression systems and demonstrate design components.
- Collaborate with interaction, motion designers, engineers, and researchers to ship functioning design systems.
Compensation
This full-time role offers a base salary ranging from $151,000 to $222,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Final salary is influenced by work location and other factors.
